Changelog: November 5, 2024

In this update, we're introducing new tools to help you manage your RPC endpoints more effectively. With Transaction Slot Latency, you can now monitor endpoint transaction performance in real-time. Our new IP-Based Rate Limiter gives you more control over traffic, and we've added support for PagerDuty and Discord as alert recipients. Let's dive into these updates and see how they can improve your experience.

Transaction Slot Latency

We're excited to introduce a new way to measure the real Transaction Slot Latency for your own RPC Endpoints. By opting in, you'll authorize Ironforge to periodically send small transactions through your configured endpoint, offering you the slot latency data with minimal overhead.

This new chart empowers you to monitor and analyze your RPC Endpoint's transaction performance.

To learn how to opt in, check out our Transaction Slot Latency documentation.

Rate Limiter

We’re enhancing control over your firewall with our new IP-Based Rate Limiter. This feature allows you to set unique rate limits for each IP address that matches specific firewall conditions, giving you the flexibility to manage traffic and protect your services more effectively.

New Alerts Recipients

Finally, we've expanded alerting capabilities by adding support for PagerDuty and Discord as alert recipients. Now, you can receive critical notifications directly on the platforms that work best for your team.
