Changelog: September 30, 2024

We're excited to announce our latest updates. It features improvements to our Firewall, analytics, and logging capabilities.

Firewall

Over the last few weeks, we've been working on enhancing our firewall capabilities. The most significant change is that we've added a new firewall mode, which can be enabled in the top-right corner of the firewall page.

The new Firewall mode allows you to opt-in to a more traditional firewall mode. In this mode, all traffic is blocked by default, and you can allow specific traffic patterns using conditions.

Other than that, we've made the following enhancements:

  • Added new condition options for greater flexibility and control.
  • Implemented AI-powered Firewall Rule Generation.
  • Added the ability to view Firewall logs.

These updates improve and simplify the process of setting up and managing your Firewall rules, making it easier to secure your applications.

Revamped Analytics and Logging Experience

We have been working on revamping our analytics and logging experience for a while now. In this release we have made significant improvements to the dashboards, charts, filters and logs experience.

Team Management

We've added a new role: Read Only in the team section. This role allows team members to view all the analytics, logs, load balancer routing strategies, and more, but restricts them from making any changes to the configurations.

Deprecating aggregated response format for sendTransaction

We are deprecating the aggregated response format we implemented for sendTransaction to be 100% JSON-RPC API and Web3.js compatible.

The new response format will now select the last response from the RPC endpoint that has a 200 status code. The removal of this deprecated feature will occur in December 2024.

To migrate to the new format, go to Settings -> General and opt out of the aggregated response format.

Miscellaneous

Some other minor improvements we worked on:

  • Added support for new RPC methods getAssetProofs and simulateBundle to the Dynamic Routing Strategies.
